Some things that were new last year and are repeated as they were popular are:We have more classes planned and these have been predefined; choose your class as you register
Our "Diamond in the Rough" category has become a class in its own right. You can enter for this class specifically to compete for the 1st prize of a $100 Moss Motors gift certificate. This will be a panel-judged class while the rest remain popular vote as in previous years
We will also be recognizing the entry that has driven the most miles to attend the show with a prize
- Attendance prizes will be available for many participants we will have a much improved distribution method to makes things much easier to see if you've won an attendance prize.
We hope these changes, combined with the many successful elements of this event from past years, will meet with your approval and convince you again to participate in the show.
Special Classes - Additional Information
Our "Diamond in the Rough" category has is a class in its own right but it works differently as it is not a popular vote class. You can still enter for this class specifically to compete for the 1st prize of a $100 Moss Motors gift certificate. This class will be a panel-judged class and the idea is that we are trying to help support an enthusiast who has a car with great potential but is clearly in need of some help with a restoration or repair. We hope that the winner of this class will be able to use the prize to kick start a restoration or repair of a great car that is clearly a Diamond in the Rough.
Car I'd Most Like To Drive Home - well this isn't really a class but it is a category to be voted on by all registered participants. The idea of this award is to recognize the most popular car on the show field amongst all marques. The name pretty much explains it all and everyone always has a favorite they see that they wish they could take home. So vote for your choice.
Chairman's Choice - this also isn't really a class but we bring together the Chairs of the local clubs to collectively pick a best car on the field from their perspective. This may be something unique or rare or a very fine example of a particular marque. You can check the "Previous Years" tab for pictures of previous winners.
